The U9's were to play Lymington B last night but the match was cancelled by the opposition as they could not get enough players for a team. So instead of the U9's missing out on another game we put on a friendly mixed match comprising of U9 and U11 boys and girls. The evening was perfect. Warm, sunny and a gentle breeze. The children really enjoyed it and there was some excellent cricket.
There was some really good accurate bowling, superb batting and great accurate throwing resulting in some runouts.
We loosely kept score but it didn't matter who won or lost, but the enjoyment they all had.
