Well done team. The boys were awesome.

We won the toss and chose to bowl. Gary and I were super impressed. Virtually no extras, really tight bowling. Pleasing to see the wickets being shared amongst the group (Jack, Isaac, Andrew and Eddie all got 2 each, with Will chipping in with a wicket (even though he suffered a bee sting on his foot on Saturday!). Mudeford were restricted to 225 for 9 off their 16 overs.

Andrew captained really well and discussed the approach with the team who knew we would reach the target if we were sensible and avoided playing high risk cricket.

We ended uo with 250 / 5. Andrew and Harry top scoring with 11 and 10 respectively. Shout out for Harry’s two crushing 4’s on a very slow outfield.

Special mention to Charlie on his improving wicket keeping skills. He did so well for his first match keeping and also first hard ball match! Eddie / Otis were our other as hard ball debutants. Thought Otis bowled beautifully in his second spell. Eddie took wickets and some diving fielding!

Overall, great team work and concentration on a wet, rain affected day. Gary and I super proud of you all!
