NMCC Falcons won the toss and put Hook into bat. Captain Millie got us off to a great start getting a wicket caught behind by Izzy second ball, but Hook fought hard and finished on 96 from their 20 overs.

All our bowlers were excellent as usual. El, Evie and Abby were accurate making it very difficult for Hook score against. Swara and Beth both took 2 wickets each and an outstanding bit of fielding from Evie, throwing at 1 stump, saw one of the Hook batters walk back to the clubhouse.

On paper, with a good wicket and a strong batting line up, the Hook total looked very chasable, but the early loss in the first few overs of Swara, Dhwani and Izzy put the team under massive pressure. Both Millie and Evie steadied the ship with 2 excellent calm innings scoring 15 and 12 respectively supported a swashbuckling innings from Daisey, who delivered at the crucial moment scoring a superb 39 not out off 23 balls which sealed the win for the Falcons.
