On Saturday 19th NMCC 1sts hosted local rivals Sway and the 3rds, 2nds and several members from the ladies teams held a mixed Inter club friendly 30 over game. I'm pretty certain this was the first time NMCC has had truly mixed teams playing each other in what turned out to be a really enjoyable and close match - The winners were cricket and NMCC!

The 1st Team soundly beat Sway with everyone contributing in some way. The wickets played really well (many of the team commented on how good it was this early in the season) and its testament to the hard work the ground staff have been doing in the pre season that the 1sts scored over 270 runs in their innings.

The day was a huge success and bodes well for the rest of the season. Here is to more cricket and a very successful season for all at NMCC!
